This book is about two people who grow up together and go through many trials where they end as completely different who they thought they would be.
I think this book is a good read, becasue it is romantic , funny, sad, and quite shocking in some areas. Its got good descriptive language and lets you escape in the realsim of their lives.
Its set in epistolary narrative. some people may find this quite hard to read as it goes from one email too the next from different people. i found this narrative really interesting as i thought it was more personal too the reader and invitied you in more.
I think its great story , very realistic and very recommended.

Thanks for finding an example of an epistolary narrative. Do you think a good story depends on having a sense of realism and being able to identify with a character's real experiences? If so, how does a writer do this?
I don't think it nescessairly has to have a sense of realism, but i do think it you have to be able to connect with the characters. They have to be able see that the characters are not too different from your self they feel the same and think the same even if they do have magic powers or are bad people.
Writers often relate to their own feelings and emotion when writing a book , i think this is what allows the reader to connect with the character.
